BIGOTRY LOST TODAY: BUT NOW THE NAACP IS ON TRIAL

NAACP Sterlingby Attorney taleph Haynes Davis, Esq.
Today in a limited instance (in the sports world) bigotry went on trial and lost. It is interesting that the trial of bigotry happened today in the entertainment capital of the world with that being Los Angeles which still has its "Hollywood" issues cemented in historical bigotry in entertainment, and television, and movies, but that is another discussion on another day. And what happened today should demonstrate to all that bigotry can and will come from the left of the political spectrum and from the right of the political spectrum and as a result, bigotry, can come from anywhere at any time and is never monopolized.

But bigotry will ultimately lose.

Donald Sterling, the current star face of bigotry in the sports world, lost today via the National Basketball Association's Constitution and Bylaws of that Corporation and apparently in motion now, is the eventual forced change in ownership of his Los Angeles Clippers basketball team.

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver issued a life banishment of Donald Sterling from the NBA along with a

$2.5 Million fine for his utterances captured on an audio tape apparently leaked to the website TMZ and played to the whole world.

But what also should be on trial as a result of today's activity, and as time moves forward, is the Los Angeles Chapter of the NAACP and its "leader" Leroy Jenkins along with the NAACP itself.

Indeed, the NAACP itself is now on trial as a result of this matter today in my opinion.

And I would also argue that the "chapter doesn't fall to far from the tree."

The NAACP is now on trial itself as a result of its Los Angeles Chapter's inexplicable basis for awarding a so-called "Lifetime Achievement" award to Donald Sterling not only in 2009, but the Los Angeles Chapter of the NAACP was also getting ready to award him with another one on May 15, 2014. Indeed, were it not for Donald Sterling's black-American/black-Latina "girlfriend" (he's married) who was recorded on the apparently leaked audio recorded of the young woman having a discussion/argument with this man (that the whole world now knows about and was the basis of the life banishment of Donald Sterling from the NBA along with the $2.5 Million fine and that recording ended up revealing his bigotry on tape), the Los Angeles Chapter of the NAACP and its "leader" Leroy Jenkins would have "dropped their draws" again, and got in bed with a man like Donald Sterling for money.

It is the oldest profession in the world. "Dropping your draws" and getting in bed with a man like Donald Sterling for money. It is the oldest profession in the world and you know it. And I know it.

And I don't give one damn about Jenkins' utterance about "forgiveness" and Jenkins reciting some Biblical rationale (everybody can utter a religious rationale when they have done something stupid and then they need to rationalize as to why they are now changing horses in the middle of the stream) and then deciding not to give Donald Sterling the award. I mean, how easy is that? How much thought went into that decision?

Yes, what I am writing here is cold. But I am going to be frank about the matter at hand. And if you like the truth, make sure you can handle the truth.

And if you disagree with me, you are entitled to do so.

But the NAACP itself is now on trial as a result of this matter today along with these other so called "civil rights groups" and these so-called "leadership" and self-appointed, self-anointed, narcissistic, snake-oil dealing, pulpit pimp, alleged "civil rights" fill-in-the blank "characters" and associations, and organizations and "action networks" and the like, that are apparently embraced by those who feel compelled to follow.

Indeed, the so-called "followers" are certainly entitled to blindly follow these "personalities" and organizations off the side of a cliff if they choose to do so. But I also warn those "followers" that even an innocent looking container of grape Kool-Aid can be a dangerous beverage for blind consumption.

But at what point does one continue to allow these self-appointed, self-anointed, narcissistic, snake-oil dealing, pulpit pimp, alleged "civil rights" fill-in-the blank "characters" to peddle this type of "sellout nonsense" for the benefit of nothing other than to bolster, advance, and otherwise "prop up" their own self-appointed, self-anointed, narcissistic, snake-oil dealing, pulpit pimp, "cult of personality" personas for their own selfish economic benefit?

You don't have to respond at all to this entry. I just encourage all who read it, respectfully, to just think about the intellectual order of the day.

And I for one am throwing down the gauntlet at the NAACP and the LA "Chapter" today and make no apologies by doing so.

You are now on trial.
