As I embrace my day I come to
realize, each and every day gives
me the opportunity to be a better
me.

I no longer expect every moment to
be an award winner; but each day
can be a step toward my dreams.

Not everyone will see me as I see 
myself; but their description will 
not be the one that will determine 
my future.

I seek to be the me I never thought
I could be, while loving the me I am at
this very moment.

I recognize my shortcomings and seek
to design a plan to make them less
visible to myself and others.

I wrap my arms strongly around living
as I maneuver around those thing that
cause me pain. Hardship will be used for
good as I regroup to move beyond the
point of impact.

I will no long accept that which makes me
unhappy regardless if it is within me or
imposed on me by others. The power to
be better will be given to me by those I love,
those that love me, and those who refuse
to see the value in my love.
