District Six's Silent Sam Ings Say's Little But Spends A Lot

Growing up in Chicago, I've seen local politicians get things done for their Ward. An effective community representative in political office can do wonders to really "Bring home the bacon".

I've been in Orlando for 20 years now and during that time I've heard Commissioner Sam Ings say very little of note in the years since he was elected to the Orlando District 6 seat and he has done less. Just look around and see for yourself and tell me what you see and where is the progress?

Sam has though, spent on his on entertainment at the expense of the people. Did you know that a

night out on the town for Silent Sam cost the people $887 at the Amway Center and another $783 at the Metrowest Golf Country Club?

In fact, Silent Sam Ings total expenditures added up to the most spending of any City Commissioner with a shocking grand total of $27,000. None of the other City Commissioners have spent as much and none has done so little for their district.

Silent Spending Sam has got to go. It would be one thing to spend on the community, it is quite another to spend on Sam.

Why doesn't the City government of Orlando call him out on this? It took an investigative report by a local ABC report to reveal it all to us. Why, because Sam is Silent and says little, like they want him to do, stay silent.

Are they letting Sam spend the City's money for his silence? Are they allowing the District to suffer for Sam's personal entertainment? Enough is enough. Time for change. Time for a district voice and a new vision for District 6.
