Seafood Station

Seafood Station

#BHMUpgrade Day 227 of Supporting a Black Business brings me to Seafood Station in West Orlando's Pine Hills Community (off Silver Star Rd just West of Evans High). Owned and managed by husband & wife team of Morris Hicks and Cara Jackson-Hicks, #Seafood Station is a smashingly good seafood restaurant with Grade A service. In business for 7 years and at this location for 4 yrs, Seafood Station's soulful blend of cajun and down sound seasoning and creative combinations of entree platters leave customer craving for more & more. Their menu items include Snow crab, jumbo shrimp, fried fish, crawfish, conch fritters, seafood rice, lobster mac & cheese, shrimp & grits, as well as savory homemade cakes that taste like they come straight from Grandmas kitchen. A Family operated business, their hard working staff makes food fresh and assures customer satisfaction, with options for order in, take out, phone orders, delivery with Uber Eats and availability for catering and pop up vending. With owner Morris being an Apopka, FL native and wife Cara being a Pine Hills native, they got into the food business after hosting years of seas food parties for fellowships and recreation. Adoring the tasty foods, Friends and family encouraged them to start a business; and so they did in 2013 - selling plates for delivery, then a food truck and eventually a facility In 2016. Now thriving business, they leave customers hooked on mouthwatering seafood. In co-owner Cara's words "I love providing good product and great ser vice to the community I came up in". Seafood Station is open Tuesday to Saturday from 11:30 am to 8 pm. They are located at 5107 Silver Star Rd Orlando, FL. Reach them by phone at (321) 217-3504.
