Founded, Owned and managed by Chef Kayle Borders, #LucillesSouthernCuisine is a custom soul food provider and caterer of all events. In business for 10 years in the catering extension and 3 years in the custom meal business, they make gourmet southern dishes with a standard weekly menu and options for customized dishes. Chef Kayle and her hard hard working staff (family) prepare exquisite dishes using unique blends and combinations of herbs and spices for a lip smacking delicious final product. They specialize in ox tails , meat loaf, fried chicken wings, boiled shrimp platters, fried fish, smothered pork chops, speckled butter beans, collard greens, macaroni & cheese, melt in your mouth corn bread and dessert of Lucille's famous brownies served with every meal. A Tampa, FL native and Bethune Cookman Alumni, Owner Kayle Borders learned to cook from her late Mother Ms. Lucille Champion and in turn named the business in her legacy. She previously owned and operated "Love Kitchen" as a general caterer for 10 years and was encouraged by her son and other family members to become a regular vendor of soul food dinner plates and platters; with "every meal made with love." Lucille's takes orders for delivery, putting a menu out on Tuesday and delivering on Fridays (only), with and is expanding to further service in the near future.
