#BHMUpgrade Day 182 of Supporting a Black Business brings me to Mask Modish in Sanford, FL. Owned and managed by Miss Eva Weeden, #MaskModish is a creator and designer of protective masks and producer of the kente cloth themed masks I've delivered to over 100 businesses in this BHMUpgrade journey. Operating since March of this year, Mask Modish specializes in Cultural patterned masks, as well as makes custom Designs. Each mask is assembled with two layers of tightly woven 100% cotton fabric and are washable & reusable. Mask Modish's beautifully crafted facial masks are all designed by CEO Eva, a 13-year old seamstress and budding entrepreneu r entering her Freshman year of High School. While witnessing the global devastation brought on by COVID-19, Eva wanted to find a way to use her gifts to help others and With support and encouragement from her family and top employee & Mom Stephanie Marie Herndon, her dream came to fruition and Mask Modish was born.
