Bronze Kingdom

#BHMUpgrade Day 314 of Supporting a Black Business brings me to Bronze Kingdom in Southwest Orlando's International Drive area. Owned and managed by Rawlvan Bennett, #BronzeKingdom is a culturally themed gallery and museum sharing the richly robust legacy of Africa through educational, historical, creative and technological exhibitions/programs. In the art industry for over 40 years and in Orlando for 5 years, Bronze Kingdom has an impressive 27,000 square foot facility featuring one of the largest collections of African bronze sculptures in the world, as well as a host of elite ethnic inspired pieces from local and international artists. They have over 2,000 African tribal pieces from African nations including Nigeria, Cameroon, Mali, Côte d' Ivoire, Ghana, Senegal, and The Congo. Bronze Kingdom and their knowledgeable staff & curator always seek to add more expressions of creativity to their gallery, for more cultivating experiences capturing modern art as well. They further have a restaurant and event center for rental, as well as themed nights for each day of the week. A San Antonio, Texas native raised in Fairfield, California, owner Rawlvan Bennett has a passion for African art going back 40 years. He started out by purchasing one interesting African mask; After studying more about it, his interest grew into a love, yearning to learn about tribal art, people, lands, customs and eventually moving to Africa - residing in Ghana and South Africa for 10 years, where he explored cultures & tribes and acquired authentic pieces, hence the Bronze Kingdom was born. They relocated their collection to Orlando in 2015 first at Fashion Square Mall and now expanding to International Drive. In the owners words "My wish is for our people to learn that Our Story begins with Kings and Queens, our legacy is told through Stories of their artifacts". Bronze Kingdom is located at 6464 International Dr Orlando, FL. Reach them by phone (407) 377-7717 or email This email address is being protected from spambots.
