Chicken Fire

#BHMUpgrade Day 248 of Supporting a Black Business brings me to Chicken Fire in East Orlando off Bumby Rd and Washington St. in Barley and Vine parking lot. Owned and managed by Kwame Boakye, #ChickenFire is a mobile eatery providing lip smackingly good food. In business for one (1) year, Chicken Fire specializes in Soulful Nashville style hot chicken that has customer craving and running back for more. Their menu items include: freshly made chicken tenders in an array of spice levels, french fries, coleslaw and signature sauce. Their custom made blend of seasons and combination of different heat levels for your desired taste layered on buns in a uniquely tasty fashion to make the chicken fire. A native of Akron, Ohio and University of Akron Alum with a Masters from Western Governors Univ, owner Kwame learned to cook from his Grandmother who lived in Camben, Alabama; Teaching him to cook with his senses and not just conventional cook book methods. At just 25 years old, Kwame Combined cooking skills, educational tools and motivation led to Starting a business. In his own words: "We are seeking to be people's favorite place to eat chicken with Passion; Passion is everything we put into iour products through service and purpose, thus we are SOULFUL".
