#BHMUpgrade Day 225 of Supporting a Black Business brings me to Dungeon Forward based in South Florida and serving the globe. Founded and owned by David Castro, #DungeonForward is a vibrantly stylish urban clothing brand specializing in head apparel. In business for 12 years, Dungeon Forward was created to develop pieces directly inspired by and for the creative community, with the name itself being one of movement and progress. Originally selling several types of clothing, after 6 years they decided to focus on head wear realizing that the crown was often treated as an after thought, aspiring to not only create innovative head wear, but to tell a cultural story while doing so. Their products include several iconic collections ranging from Black History themed hats to Historically Black College University (HBCU) caps. Through head wear it is their intent to call attention to stories of triumph, and to infuse poetic inspiration into our crowns. A Palm Beach native and Florida A&M University Alumni, owner David Castro is an architect by trade who always had a keen eye for fashion. In 2008 he put his hobby into a business and founded Dungeon Forward.
