Owned and operated by Rod Bishop Thompson, #FatBonesBBQ is a soulfully good mobile food vendor specializing in deliciously prepared smoked meats. In business for 2 years, Fat Bones has their personalized recipe for BBQ that keep clients craving more and coming back often. Their unique seasoning and blend of rubs lead to an exquisite taste. Their key menu items include Ribs, Chicken, Turkey Legs, Smoked sausage; as well as sides of Mac n cheese, greens, baked beans and this exclusive Crips pound cake using the owner's Grandmother's classic recipe. Fat Bones BBQ is available for vending, catering, pop up shops and general order & purchase onsite. An Orlando native and Evans High Alum, owner Rod Bishop Thompson initially got into the Food industry 5 years ago, partnering with a friend on a business venture and latter learning the management side of it. Transitioning from that business, he found former patrons consistently asking about his food and decided to get another business centered around BBQ and in touch with the community. Connecting with some high school friends, he found a location for Fat Bones BBQ that enhances other businesses in the same area - affectionately nicknamed Trojan Lane.
