ORLANDO, FL- Regina Hill, candidate for Orlando City Commissioner District Five, responds that bullying allegations made by Beverley Burgess are totally false. Ms. Burgess claims that Ms. Hill threatened Ms. Burgess on March 3, 2014 by spitting in her face and allegedly threatening to cast a ballot in Ms. Burgess' name.

"I have never spit in anyone's face, nor would I behave in such a manner, I have served my community for the past 23 years and no one has ever made such claims. It is always disheartening when something is said about me that is simply not true. I will remain encouraged. I will continue to stand for the people and with the people," said Hill.

Campaign spokeswoman, Tezlyn Figaro says "Ms. Hill has been attacked by various smear campaigns since the very moment she decided to run for office. We understand that because of Ms. Hill's courage to run against a legacy of coordinated bullying tactics and misinformation, that the fight would not be easy. It is apparent that the only person who is being bullied is Ms. Hill. However, Ms. Hill will continue to fight the uphill battle towards victory. Ms. Hill looks forward to discussing the alleged events with the proper authorities. Until then, Ms. Hill will continue to stand for the people and with the people."
