Artist Everett Spruill - Artful Soul

#BHMUpgrade Day 351 of Supporting a Black Business brings me to Artist Everett Spruill - Artful Soul based in Orlando. Everett Spruill is a first class artist, print-maker and photographer. In the art industry for 32 years, he specializes in culturally appealing painting and sculptures. Spruill's style started with an increasingly complex variation of recycled and re-purposed materials focusing on Jazz as a central theme and shifted to "Tribal Rhythms Series" in which he employs interlocking geometric shapes combined with graffiti techniques. His wide array of creative pieces come in the form of: wall art, photographs, home decor items, small prints, lifestyle pieces, stationary, phone cases and more. His collections are found in books and viewable online for purchase; able to be shipped nationally and internationally. Over the last 4 years Everett has matriculated to making wire sculptures for public spaces and developing architectural projects. His creative master pieces are on display in Art Galleries, Universities, Restaurants and homes across the globe and locally found at Orlando's Bronze Kingdom. Giving back to the community, Everett Sprurill is available to present, display and educate others about art as he feels it's essential to life. A Birmingham, AL native and Berea College Alumni, Everett has a background as hotel executive working as an accountant and comptroller. Moving from Birmingham to Sacramento to Miami to Orlando in the hotel industry, he always found time to paint or craft as he'd done as a youth. In 1989 he left the corporate world to follow passion in art. A numbers person, he knew the closing ratios needed to succeed, and strategically developed a plan to be impactful and profitable in the craft of art. In his own words: "Real art appreciates.
