Attn: Men and Women of God We have made a commitment
Who: Loretta Morris White, Playwright, & Youth Minister
What: A Stage Play production, "Why Did I Have to Die?"
Where: Star Theater 840 Ralph David Abernathy Blvd. Atlanta, Ga 30310
Why: Loretta is a resident of Sanford Florida, minutes from where the young teen Trayvon Martin was
gunned down and has left his parents to grieve. This event touched an entire nation. As a mentor for
youth for over 20 years, a community advocate and role model for young girls; Loretta decided to
utilize her leadership skills gained from her 10 years of Military service. She wants to continue leading on a grander scale in all communities. Loretta realizes it takes an entire village to make a difference and to build our youth so she believed that reaching out to the masses will be the answer. Her children were personally affected by the tragedy of so many teen murders especially Mr. Martin.
Loretta was lead to one of the Largest Entertainment Cities that she felt would be the most influential; and by her surprise, one of the great Playwrights that she admired from a distance actually accepted the invitation to help on the mission. Mr. Russell M. Tyson from Atlanta decided that the cause was one that he strongly believed in so he joined forces with his company Inspired Images, LLC.
We are now seeking sponsors from the surrounding areas that believe in the community as well as the youth.
"Our children no longer feel safe to walk in their communities! Why? Most don't feel that the adults in
the community will come together and protect their wellbeing and be advocates for them. Children
learn by example, so in the Stage play production of "Why Did I Have to Die?" it will show examples of solutions for our adults as well as prove to our youth that the adults will stand up and be responsible and tend to their needs. The question is, WHY DID OUR CHILDREN HAVE TO DIE?"
