Yesterday, May 20, 2014, former Orlando Police Chief and former 2012 Democratic United States Congressional Candidate, became a former Orange County Democratic Mayoral for 2014 candidate too.
She added "quitting the Orange County Democratic Mayoral race for 2014" to her political resume.
Democrat Val Demings quit in the middle of the Orange County Mayoral race.
I guess that is something that now qualifies her to run in the future for some undetermined office that only you, the Democratic voters can only wonder about.
Yes, Val Demings QUIT the race for Orange County Florida Mayor and is now, according to Orange County's Democratic Party Chairman Carlos Smith who released a statement Tuesday afternoon May 20, 2014, "a rock star in the eyes of the Democratic Party" as reported by mynews13.com.

She quit the race to become elected as Orange County Florida's top executive saying that it was "not the right race at this time" according to published reports including the Orlando Sentinel. Indeed, it was reported that Demings' overall fundraising total included $50,000 from the state party and included more than $18,000 from in-kind staffing help from the state party in Tallahassee.
It was "not the right race at this time" Demings said according to reports.
What? Really?
Her fundraising relied heavily on state Democratic Party contributions according to news reports and the Orange County Supervisor of Elections website.
"A rock star in the eyes of the Democratic Party" just quit and now the egos of the Democratic Party will begin the "spin" on the matter.
When the statewide Florida Democratic egos, meet the Orange County countywide Democratic egos, who then meet the Orlando Democratic citywide egos, who are ALL overseen by the National Democratic Party egos, then you have one big 'ol Democratic Party family dysfunction playing out here in good 'ol Orange County Florida.
It's called "Only in Central Florida Democratic Party nonsense."
And that, apparently, is what you good 'ol faithful "I always vote for a Democrat" are witnessing with this absolutely amazing bit of history playing out before your eyes.
