OK...here: This is most certainly how it should be, what we believe voting is about and also what they spare no dollar(s) in promoting in campaign seasons. But based upon history's performances of those that were chosen via the voting process, maybe, there exist that side of Sunshine(or 'Darkshine') that might need honest looks at what seems to be happening to the victors we send to represent our voices as a dismal possibility regarding the power of our vote and choice..
Based upon past practices, it seems we may choose those to represent our best interests BUT there may be another unaddressed possibility that is certain to give us disappointing discomfort which may
be that they are being pressured and enticed to ignore their campaigned integrity status and move to conform to 'old' business format as usual.
This is the hidden confusion that causes voters' confidence in their choice to have whiplash when their 'chosen' begin to change in allegiance. Are those we send to rep our collective needs being perceived as the accepted ones to be used and converted into sales representatives for the old underhanded business regime against US as conduits for a 'soft sale' helping them to continue their 'Darkshine' business as usual agendas despite our needs, concerns or complaints?
Seems otherwise, there is no justifiable explanation for the disconnect unproductive progress.
I recall many of our past office holders would resort to declaring that they aren't for or against issues even though the reason for sending them was to take a stand either for or against definitively.
In the future, I would suggest we watch with hawk eyes how frequently your candidates choose not to speak out with confirmations supported by their visible actions that support a stand in your behalf; how frequently they may tend to abstain or ride fences to balance their newly awarded job to stay in good graces of power brokers at voter expense;how frequently they will substitute one task for another less volatile need in place of a crucial one to appear they are working for you, like Three Card Molly.
I don't know...just sharing a possible insight for consideration. The question to potential office holders is HOW STRONG ARE YOU COMMITTED TO YOUR INTEGRITY THAT YOU SEEK TO SELL TO YOUR SUPPORTERS...or IS THAT TOO FOR SALE? Otherwise, they will be demonstrating that they work for the old regime(most), as it has been and continues.
BUT... they will try to get us a little something so 'all' will be happy with them staying in office, of course, as long as they can keep up the facade!!!
Above all remember the character of the people your candidates choose to openly endorse. That's a true cue reflection of their own hidden characters and self interest.
