On October 20, 2014 I voted early here in Florida for the statewide Florida election. I voted for candidates that embrace the following:
1. A strong economy for Florida by providing an environment for businesses to grow in order to create an environment whereby jobs can be offered to those citizens who are qualified for the jobs that are offered.
2. A strong economy for Florida by providing an environment for small businesses to grow, like my small business, by providing an environment where the taxing of small businesses like my small business is minimal.
3. A policy, statewide, that creates an environment that will foster a market that gives citizens who want to build their own businesses an opportunity to build those businesses and as a result, those who do build those businesses have an opportunity to become more independent and self-sufficient.
4. A commitment to the individual citizen who is law-abiding to be able to defend himself and or herself with lethal deadly force if needed within the statutory construction of the law, with the duty of no retreat.
5. A commitment to the expansion of individual freedoms and liberties of the citizenry of the state.
6. A commitment to the development of broad area of the agricultural industry of the state.
7. A commitment to the protection of the natural resources of the state and its beautiful wildlife.
8. A commitment to an independent judiciary.
9. A commitment to simplicity for the benefit of the citizenry in the clerk of court process and its access.
10. For the process for the beginning of the legalization (monaterialzation)of marijuana.
I will admit that there were only certain candidates who, as I did my research, advocated these positions as stated above.
That's what October 20, 2014 was for me and my personal constitution as a free thinking politically independent citizen.
