Red Brush Painting & Sherwin Williams team up to give back to Veterans and their families.
On February 7-9, 2014 Red Brush Painting and Sherwin Williams will come together to volunteer their time and materials to paint The ¬Life Restoration Outreach and Performing Arts Center at 116 Jackson St, Altamonte Springs, FL 32701. This Outreach center and its leaders, Pastor Daniel Sims, and Loretta Morris White serve as an outreach program to the Community with a special emphasis on Veterans and particularly homeless Vets and their families to help them get back on their feet.
Loretta White is a veteran who was homeless and served 10 years in the U.S. Army. Pastor Simms and The Center helped her get back on her feet and she eventually founded her Non-Profit "Veterans R M.A.D. Inc. Now Loretta's mission is to pay it forward and help the center and other homeless vets and their families to be able to start over again.
Loretta has worked with John Eynouf, a veteran of the US Army, and Pastor Simms on other projects in the past and now John is using his partnership with Red Brush painting to help the center and also kick off Red Brush's own Veteran outreach mission.
Red Brush Painting and Sherwin Williams are launching their initiative to give back to the families of fallen heroes and are pledging to paint the homes of the families of 9 of our fallen soldiers this year in locations they currently service which are listed below.
1) Miami-Dade FL
2) Palm Beach FL
3) Broward FL
4) N of Palm Beach – South of Indian River FL
5) Port St. Lucie FL
6) King County WA
7) Dallas TX
8) Portland OR
9) Cincinnati OH
Why Painting you might ask? …. When you look better you feel better and the same goes for our homes. The outreach center in Altamonte is a perfect place to start as the more visually appealing it is the more effective it will be in drawing in those in need.
We need your help to reach out and find the families who are in the most need.
After losing your loved one to war it is hard to even imagine all the hardships and uncertainty that you face. By simply coming in and painting a house that is in desperate need for these families we can help to give them back pride in their homes and hopefully the beginning of a fresh start and healing.
Red Brush Painting and Sherwin Williams want to do what they do best to help our Nation's Heroes. Help us reach out to the families in need and complete our mission.
