A Position Paper: Released by the Pan-Africanist Coalition
War is Politics With Blood & Politics is War Without Blood.
There's a war going on in the 5th. There have been heavy casualties already. Fireworks are going off all over, on the streets, in the neighborhoods and especially in the local media. The one element missing from the entire scene is the African-American leadership.
Why have they not given either support or condemnation to this attempt at a power grab in the 5th. Isn't talking what politicians do? Why has this group been silent?
District and the Juan-Gate
Is Silence Really Golden? The silence of our leaders is nothing new. We
rarely hear Orlando African-American elected officials speak-out on substantive issues concerning the African-American Community or, for that matter, anything else. African-American candidates for Orlando and Orange elected positions seem to run just to get in a position to further their own interest. The mantra has to be, "run for election and get paid by the powers that be", at the expense of the people of course.
Let's be honest here, "Silence" is only really "Golden" when one is getting a reward of some sort. In this case, our leaders are being "silent" because they expect to receive some "gold" coins in the future. What they don't know is that the African-American Community is waking up and will soon vote them out of office.

The Game is Changing.
It's a brand new day on the Orlando political horizon and everyone best get on board for the benefit of the community or the People will speak and remove you from office. No more buffoonery, no more queens, clowns or court jesters. No more sell-outs, no more overseers' and no more proxies for the powers that be.
Caveat Emptor: Let the Buyer Beware.
To those African-American elected officials who choose to straddle the fence between your masters & your community and "Buy" into the "Gentrification" and exclusion of your own community, you will lose that seat though the process of election during your very next election. You have an opportunity to stand up and lead or be removed; the choice is yours. All eyes on you!
