U.S. MILITARY VETERANS AND YOUTH OF OUR COMMUNITIES ARE M.A.D. (Making A Difference)

LorettaWhiteLoretta White started working with the youth of Central Florida since the year 2000. While living in communities where she had to fight and advocate getting help for those suffering all types of community hardships. She stood up to fight for their rights all alone.

Loretta served 10 years in the Military, obtaining the rank of SGT. She had to be a strong leader. She gave so much of herself and as a result received one of the highest non combat awards, The Army Commendation Medal, an award for exceptional service.

Ms. White did not stop serving in 1989 when she was honorably discharged; she continued serving her Country through her community work. Ms White started mentoring youth and utilized the Arts to help. She always felt that the Arts heal the hurt.

In 2003, Ms White started a production company with her family and also worked as an Independent Contractor with The Grove Counseling Center which allowed her to connect two things she enjoyed; Building families and entertainment.

After her contract ended with the Counseling center, Ms White worked quite hard at obtaining funding, assistance and support from other agencies without any help. Ms White was determined not to quit because of sincere dedication to the communities, therefore, she went at it alone. This determination caused her to lose her home and her and her family became homeless. Now she fit the category of the unthinkable ….I Am A Homeless Veteran!

Because of this hardship, Ms. White along with Kakorya Davis, founded a nonprofit organization for Veterans and their families. The name came from Loretta and one of her Independent Artist that lives in Clarksville, Tn. He and Loretta discussed projects to help communities and talked about Making A Difference, which also had the acronym M.A.D. so Loretta knew that she wanted to have the word Veteran in it as well, they all agreed on Veterans R M.A.D. Inc.

Loretta has now recruited her youth and young adults as well as Independent Recording Artist around the world to help her spread the word and assist her and her new organization to end Veteran Homelessness.

Loretta is presently enrolled in 2 of the programs that the President of the U.S. and the Veterans Administration Secretary has set up and approved for Homeless Veterans. These programs have saved her life. Loretta is now paying it forward by starting a tour throughout the U.S. and it includes her Stage Play production of “From Tent to Tent” an original production that she wrote based on the true stories of Veterans and the journey from being a soldier to the depths of homelessness , living in a camp as a Veteran. The Stage play will be a live presentation with the true stories being told of what our Veterans go through on a daily basis. Families and society suffer and it will be shown in the production. Independent Recording Artist has been recruited to put together a musical soundtrack, collaboration based on homeless Veteran stories. One of the most unique projects ever done in the History for Vets!
