Just in case you were looking for a review of "The Butler," here it is.
Just saw it. I'll try to lend an idea without giving it away. Forgive me if I do. Very well done movie. It was a living diary depicting the personal subjective experience of initial trauma and of coping with condoned racism. This racism was later to be experienced within the revered walls of the White House. There was a footnoted providence of God's intervention at a perceived weak moment to survive that actually ushered in a new life beginning.
The movie was laced with subjective racial instances showing myriad actions taken to fight inequality and was punctuated by history's 1st Civil Rights fighters. These Civil Rights fighters were stressing the reality, courage, fear and confrontation that was supported by newsreel replications.
All elements integrated to show the progression towards inevitable explosiveness for the stand against racial abuse. While simultaneously teaching the importance and significance of developing a personal-quality work ethic, family life and values despite subservience throughout varied influences of four presidents, familial love stood strong in understanding, loyalty, unity, support consolation and the restoration of breeches among loved ones.
Hope you enjoy.
