October 11, 2014: Orlando, FL -The Orlando Community Arts, Inc., (the producers of "Clare and the Chocolate Nutcracker,") was pleasantly surprised on Friday, October 10th, when a call came from the Tampa audition office of top-rated, national television series NBC's "America's Got Talent."
I am one of a "rare breed," a native Floridian. I was born here in Orlando, FL and educated in the Orange County Public Schools. I hold several degrees primarily focused on technical communication, health care, paralegal studies, and business management, administration and information technology. Here we go again, another season of the hit TV show 'Scandal' begins.
While the plot 'thickens' on the weekly drama; the results that specifically favor me in Government continues to 'thin'.
After waiting all week for Thursday, I must say that I was somewhat disappointed. I'm not sure if it is because the storyline is becoming predictable or because I am tired of watching people get so excited about people playing a role in a fictional political world yet fail to play a part in the everyday political drama that actually affects the real world.

Today, President Obama said, "In too many communities around the country, a gulf of mistrust exists between local residents and law enforcement; too many young men of color are left behind and seen only as objects of fear."
Mr. President, I must say that this applies to black women too.
