Pastor Joe Flores I have preached and heard many others preachers say that Moses greatest quality was that he was the meekest man on the earth. This thinking is derived from Numbers 12: 3.
Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth. It is easy to see how the emphasis on Moses meekness catapulted to the top of his many great personal character traits.
by Pastor Joe Flores "Don't allow your emotions to cloud your judgment", is popular conventional wisdom that most of us are familiar with. Thinking retrospectively I can remember times when I applied that wisdom and I can remember times when I wish I had applied that wisdom more definitely. In business, management and the execution of tasks it is more often a useful piece of advice. Socrates, the father of philosophy said "Know thyself".
by Rev. Dr. Henry Vernon For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. Hebrews 8:10

by Gregory Dean In this Easter "Resurrection" Season, I remembered last year's Christmas spat over whether Santa was "white". I thought the bicker was a non-starter. After all, any well-informed believer knows that Santa is definitely a "fat white guy" who'll dis you if you're bad, and lavish you with toys and gifts if you've been good. Right?
Now when it comes to Jesus . . . well, we've got a little thornier problem of identification.
